Queen of the Road Foundation (QOTRF)
Queen of the Road Foundation, Inc. (dba QOTRF, Inc.) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Davenport, Florida, USA.
We are an education-focused organization dedicated to teaching children their human rights from the very beginning. In our early years, we provided direct services, but experience revealed a deeper truth: many young and older adults remained stuck, unable to elevate themselves.
Our founder, Eva Hyatt, recognized that one core element was missing — comprehensive human rights education. Without knowledge, children remain vulnerable, and without understanding their rights, they cannot fully see their worth or protect their future.
This realization reshaped our mission. We shifted our focus to creating books and learning tools that teach children their human rights from the very beginning. Our resources also introduce essential life principles — kindness, respect, empathy, teamwork, tolerance, compromise, and community responsibility — because these values help children build healthy relationships, resolve conflict, and contribute to peaceful communities.
Alongside our education work, we continue to support families through community outreach initiatives, including our school feeding program and other efforts that strengthen community and children’s well-being.
When children learn early that they matter, they grow with resilience, responsibility, confidence, and a strong sense of self-worth.
These principles form the foundation of our approach to nurturing children, supporting families, and building a stronger, more compassionate community.
We treat every child and every family with compassion, dignity, and care, creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued.
We honor each person’s worth, voice, and cultural identity, fostering an atmosphere of mutual understanding and appreciation.
We teach children to understand others, recognize feelings, and respond with humanity, building emotional intelligence from an early age.
We encourage collaboration, cooperation, and peaceful problem-solving, helping children learn the power of working together.
We help children appreciate differences and embrace diversity without fear or judgment, preparing them for a multicultural world.
We guide children in resolving conflicts respectfully and finding common ground, teaching them that collaboration leads to better outcomes.
We believe every child can contribute to a safer, kinder community through their actions and choices, empowering them to make a positive impact.
We promote non-violence, emotional self-control, and peaceful communication, helping children develop inner calm and conflict resolution skills.
We teach children to value justice, equality, and doing what is right, helping them develop a strong moral compass.
We help children understand that their choices have impact — on themselves, on others, and on their community, fostering accountability.
We affirm that every child matters, deserves respect, and has inherent worth that must be protected and celebrated.
We teach children that freedom is a right — and responsibility is what protects it, creating a balanced approach to personal liberty.
Dedicated professionals and volunteers working together to protect and empower children through education.
