About Us

Our Story

Children Learning

Queen of the Road Foundation, Inc. (dba QOTRF, Inc.) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Davenport, Florida, USA.

We are an education-focused organization dedicated to teaching children their human rights from the very beginning. Our founder, Eva Hyatt, recognized that one core element was missing in communities — comprehensive human rights education.

Without knowledge, children remain vulnerable. Without understanding their rights, they cannot fully see their worth or protect their future. This realization reshaped our mission.

Eva Hyatt

Founder & President

Award-winning author, educator, and human rights advocate

Eva Hyatt is the award‑winning author, educator, and human rights advocate whose life’s work stands at the heart of Queen of the Road Foundation, Inc. Her mission is simple but revolutionary: teach human rights early, clearly, and without fear, because knowledge is protection and education is freedom.

Eva’s worldview is shaped by a lifetime of movement, service, and cultural immersion. She has traveled, lived, and worked across continents, visiting all 50 US states and living or working across all 48 contiguous states. These experiences give her a rare, grounded perspective — she does not just teach human rights, she has lived and seen the consequences of silence and vulnerability in communities worldwide.

As a certified human rights and anti‑trafficking consultant, Eva blends professional expertise with wisdom gained from real communities and real challenges. Through QOTRF, she leads initiatives reaching far beyond the classroom, including early education, youth empowerment, and the school feeding program.

Every child deserves safety. Every child deserves knowledge. Every child deserves freedom — and the responsibility that comes with it.

— Eva Hyatt

Testimonials

Voices of Impact

“As a retired New York City teacher, I found ‘Human Rights for Kids: Everyone Matters’ both engaging and accessible. With simple language set on vibrant illustrations, it makes complex ideas about dignity and equality easy for children to grasp.”

EP

Esther Powell

Teacher, USA

“Thanks to QOTRF’s sponsorship of US$600, we provided 100 students with warm, nourishing Jamaican-style breakfast every school day. The difference it makes in their behavior, attendance, and overall well-being is truly remarkable.”

AR

Aneta Blackett-Ricketts

Founder, On.Di.Go Feeding Programme, Jamaica

“A must read for every child who may need guidance in an increasingly complicated world. Children don’t always realize they have rights and protections to keep them safe. Every home and school should have copies of this book.”
